From NORTH, NORTHWEST or NORTHEAST
Best route for horse trailers:
Take I-90 (Northwest Tollway) or US 20 (Lake Street)
to Illinois Route 59, go south to Stearns Road, take Stearns Road west to the
end at Dunham Road. Turn South (left) onto Dunham Road, Lamplight is on the
right.
Alternate:
Take Take I-90 (Northwest Tollway) or US 20 (Lake
Street) to Illinois Route 25, go south through Elgin and South Elgin to the
junction with Dunham Road, stay left at the junction, continue on Dunham Road
past Stearns Road, Lamplight is on the right.
From SOUTH, EAST and WEST
Take I-88 (East West Tollway) or Illinois Route 64
(North Avenue) to Kirk Road (Kirk Road is on the east side of Saint Charles), as
Kirk Road crosses Route 64, it turns into Dunham Road. Continue north on Dunham
Road past Army Trail Road, Lamplight is on the left just past the railroad grade
crossing.

All equines entering
Illinois must provide:
a) A certificate of veterinary inspection issued by an accredited vet within 30
days of entry; and
b) An entry permit issued by the IL Dept. of Ag.
Entry permits are available by calling the IL DOA, 217.782.4944 or by visiting
www.agr.state.il.us and are issued 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is
no charge for obtaining an Entry Permit.
